PartnershipsThe Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis understands the value of cooperation. Many institutions, both public and private, including other Banks in the Federal Reserve System, contribute to our efforts. We have sought out these institutions to expand our collection of economic data and documents and broaden access to our services. We have engaged in a partnership with the Missouri Historical Society to compile, organize, and digitize the papers of William McChesney Martin, Jr., the longest-serving chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. We are also working with the Brookings Institution to digitize their collection of materials that commemorated, in 1963, the 50th anniversary of the Federal Reserve System. We continue a partnership with the Government Printing Office to digitize federal government publications and commit to making them permanently publicly accessible at no cost to the user. The other Federal Reserve Bank libraries, as well, allow us to scan portions of their collection for digitization and archiving. Finally, we cooperate with libraries that are members of the Federal Depository Library Program, who have assisted us by providing additional materials that we have digitized. Without their help, FRASER would not have been possible. It is our intention at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis to provide researchers and other users with easy access to the most information possible. And we thank our partners who assist us in these efforts. |
